Hi! I’m Junbo,

I am currently a self-employed media worker who has already finished and uploaded several short films, advertisements, documentaries, music videos and v-logs to my channel. Currently, my video channel has received nearly 60,0000 followers and 200,0000 “likes” from subscribers. However, compared to a professional filmmaker, my work is still being refined and is the result of hard work and exhaustive study. I am just beginning my career this year through my own self-run media studio. Even though I have utilized my knowledge in practice, I think it would be extremely challenging to reach the status of a professional without learning more skills. Therefore, I eagerly hope to enhance my knowledge and experience during my graduate studies. What’s more, since I came from China, based on the current understanding of Chinese culture and American culture, I have a big dream that I want to build a bridge between American film market and Chinese market. 

My idea of cinema is that is a lens view the world, or a window to view the world through a different perspective. Cinema provide a means to comment and critique on present day and past issues. They also comment on what they believe society's movements are heading towards
